RICHARD KEEN new work

All three paintings are reflections on places in Maine where my family and I hike with our dogs. Our favorite is hiking around Monhegan. It’s like hiking everywhere in Maine all at once with its cliffs, woods and meadows all in one spot.

I reference photos that I take on my iPhone, and then combine them with of memories about particularly striking aspects related to shapes, color, place and time of day.
